The first edition of Shred the Stage is officially in the books.
On November 26, 2025, Orto Bar in Ljubljana became the home of Slovenia’s most electrifying guitar showdown. The event was organized by Music Max in cooperation with JET Guitars and Spira Guitars, bringing together an exciting lineup of local guitar talent and a crowd ready for a night of high-voltage performances.
The evening featured incredible players of all ages, each stepping on stage to deliver their best. From blazing solos to powerful stage presence, the finalists proved that the guitar scene in Slovenia is alive and thriving.
After an unforgettable night of performances, the results of the very first Shred the Stage were announced:
🥇 1st Place: David Breznik
🥈 2nd Place: Janez Janežič
🥉 3rd Place: Anzej Pustotnik
🏅 Finalist: Alex Konjacic
🏅 Audience Choice Award: Anzej Pustotnik
Every performer brought their own style and energy to the stage, making the competition incredibly exciting for both the judges and the audience. All participants walked away with well-earned prizes and the recognition they deserved.
The passion, skill, and atmosphere inside Orto Bar made this debut edition something truly special.

This was only the beginning, and we can’t wait to bring Shred the Stage back again.
